A 6 Pack of Velcro Rollers
The heat-free secret to a blowout that actually lasts.
The technique celebrity stylists use on every set — now in a 6-pack for your bathroom.
Why your blowout never holds the way a salon blowout does
A salon blowout stays bouncy and full for days. Yours falls flat by midday. The difference isn't the products — it's the technique. Professional stylists roll warm hair onto velcro rollers and let it cool before releasing. The heat sets the shape; the cool air locks it in. No roller-set, no lasting hold.
The BRDY JAY 6 Pack of Velcro Rollers brings that technique home. Six professional-grade rollers — enough to set a full head of hair — so your blowout holds the way it should.
Why velcro rollers beat a curling iron
| ✦ No extra heat | Set on hair that's already warm from your blow dryer — no additional heat damage |
| ✦ Longer-lasting hold | Hair cools in the rolled shape = memory that holds for days, not hours |
| ✦ Root volume | Roll at the root to lift and set volume where flat irons can't reach |
| ✦ Natural-looking waves | Softer, fuller movement than a curling iron — looks like your hair just does that |
| ✦ Works on all types | Fine, thick, straight, wavy, color-treated — the technique adapts to your hair |
On every celebrity stylist's set
Bradley Leake (@hairbybradleyleake) has used velcro rollers on every blowout he's done — from his clients' personal appointments to on-set styling for Vanderpump Rules productions. It's the last step in every blowout because it's the step that makes it last.
"The velcro roller step is the one most people skip at home — and it's the exact reason their blowout falls flat by noon. Roll it, let it cool, release. That's the whole secret." — Bradley Leake, @hairbybradleyleake
The full blowout routine — step by step
- Blow dry your hair section by section until about 90% dry with some warmth remaining.
- Section the hair — part into 4-6 sections depending on your hair thickness.
- Roll each section onto a velcro roller, starting at the ends and rolling toward the root. Place the roller close to the scalp for root lift.
- Secure with a No Bend Hair Clip at the base to hold the roller firmly while it cools.
- Let everything cool completely — at least 10-15 minutes. For a longer-lasting set, let it cool 20-30 minutes or until fully cool to the touch.
- Release the clips and unroll — gently, starting from the bottom. Shake out with fingers, finish with a light shine spray.
Pro tip from Bradley: don't brush through after releasing — use your fingers to separate and shake out the set for maximum volume and bounce.

- 6 professional-grade velcro rollers — enough for a full head of hair in most thicknesses
- Available in Gold (warm, neutral, classic) and Pink (bold, playful, fun)
- Medium size — versatile for body waves, full curls, or root volume
